   The Deaconess Home provides services to adolescent females ages 11 to 18 years of age. The girls present with behaviors such as running away, assaultive behaviors, self abusive, sexual acting out, sexual aggressive behaviors, substance abuse, school truancy, poor academic achievement. The Deaconess also serves adolescents who may have been physically, sexually and emotional abused; adjudicated delinquent; oppositional-defiant; impulse disordered; obsessive-compulsive and disrupted adoption.

   The program is designed to meet the specific needs of each girl and her family. Every individual and family is unique and the Deaconess Home works to ensure that the needs of the girls and family are meet.

The program provides multiple levels of care ranging from a Residential School with a step down Group Home, Behavioral Treatment Resdience (BTR), Group Home Specializing in Family Reunification,  Independant Living and a Tracking Program.   The program provides on grounds school, tracking services in the public school, specialized clinical services, health care and nutritional services, recreational activities, vocational training, home based family services; community, school and home tracking, respite for girls and families, step down programs, settings specific for family reunification, independent living skills and extended after care.
